Whether you're installing a new patio, securing a stone walkway, or stabilizing loose aggregate surfaces, our selection of polymeric sand, adhesives, and TechniSoil paver joint stabilizers is designed to provide dependable support and long-lasting protection.

Polymeric Sand

Our standard polymeric paver sand is available in a 50-lb bag for $39.00 and is ideal for tight-fitting paver joints. This advanced mix of fine sand and proprietary binders activates with water, creating a firm, weed-resistant surface that reduces erosion and joint washout over time. It’s the go-to choice for patios, driveways, and walkways where precision and clean lines matter.

For projects with wider gaps, we offer Polymeric Sand – Wide Joint, also available in a 50-lb bag for $39.00. This version is specially formulated for joints wider than ¾ inch, making it an excellent option for irregular stone layouts or flagstone installations where traditional polymeric sand may not provide adequate coverage or locking strength. Both types are easy to apply and cure quickly under standard weather conditions.

Adhesive

Our paver bond adhesive, priced at just $9.00, offers a strong, long-lasting bond that’s perfect for attaching pavers or to concrete bases. It's particularly useful for securing wall caps, steps, or decorative elements in your hardscape design.

The formula is easy to apply, withstands variable weather conditions, and eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners in many applications.

TechniSoil Pathway & Joint Stabilizers

For stabilizing loose surfaces like decomposed granite or crushed stone, TechniSoil Pathway Stabilizer is a reliable choice. Available in a 5-gallon container for $109.00 or a 1-gallon option for $29.00, this water-based binder penetrates deep into aggregate pathways to reduce dust, lock particles in place, and improve overall surface integrity.

It’s perfect for garden paths, walkways, and xeriscape designs where a natural appearance and reduced maintenance are key.

TechniSoil NanoPave (Sealer & Binder)

NanoPave is a versatile 2-in-1 solution that acts as both a joint stabilizer and surface sealer. The 5-gallon size is available for $155.00, while the 1-gallon option is priced at $39.00. Formulated for use with pavers, flagstone, and natural stone, NanoPave creates a strong, water-resistant bond between joints while giving surfaces a natural matte finish.

It’s particularly effective in areas prone to water runoff or heavy foot traffic, offering added durability without compromising the natural look of your materials.

TechniSoil Commercial Surface

If you're working on a high-traffic commercial project or a public walking trail, the TechniSoil Commercial Surface Stabilizer is built to deliver lasting results. Priced at $114.00 for a 5-gallon container, this product is designed to reinforce decomposed granite or gravel surfaces in areas with high foot traffic or severe weather exposure.

It strengthens aggregate paths, improves compaction, and helps maintain a smooth, safe walking surface over time.

FAQs

What is polymeric sand?

Polymeric sand is a mix of fine sand and polymer additives that hardens when moistened. It’s used to fill joints between concrete pavers, bricks, or stones.

How do I use polymeric sand?

After compacting your pavers and sweeping the polymeric sand into the joints, you lightly mist the surface with water to activate the polymers. The sand will harden as it cures.

Does polymeric sand harden like concrete?

It forms a firm bond but retains some flexibility, which helps it resist cracking and withstand seasonal expansion and contraction. It’s not as rigid as concrete, but that’s by design.

How do I use polymeric sand?

Sweep the dry sand into clean, dry paver joints. Compact it with a plate compactor or tamper. Sweep off excess sand, then gently mist with water to activate the binding agents. Let it cure for 24–48 hours before use.

How much polymeric sand do I need?

Coverage depends on the size of your joints and the total square footage. On average, one 50 lb bag covers between 80–100 square feet of standard pavers.

How do I use concrete bonding adhesive?

To use concrete bonding adhesive effectively, start by ensuring that the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or loose particles. Apply the adhesive directly to the surface using a brush, roller, or trowel, depending on the product’s consistency.

For bonding new concrete or mortar to existing surfaces, apply a generous, even coat and allow it to become tacky—do not let it dry completely. Once tacky, place the new concrete mix over the adhesive.

For paver applications, apply the adhesive to the base or edge of each paver where bonding is needed. Press firmly into place. Allow the adhesive to cure as directed—typically 24 hours—for a secure, long-lasting bond.

Can I use polymeric sand with irregular flagstone?

Yes, we offer a Wide Joint Polymeric Sand variant specifically designed for larger gaps found in flagstone and natural stone layouts.

Is paver bond adhesive better than mortar?

For many applications, yes. It’s faster, cleaner, and often more durable for bonding pavers to each other or to concrete bases—without the need to mix or cure like mortar.

What’s the difference between NanoPave and Pathway Stabilizer?

NanoPave is a sealer and joint stabilizer in one—ideal for paver joints and stone features. Pathway Stabilizer is made for crushed stone and decomposed granite paths, offering dust control and surface strength.

Are these products safe for pets and plants?

Most of our stabilizers and sealers, including those from TechniSoil, are VOC-free and safe once cured. Always follow the product label for specific application and drying guidelines.
